Olivia grew up on a farm outside of Wahoo, Nebraska. She has always been passionate about holistic health care and healing, whether it is through movement, nutrition, or natural therapies. After she sustained a back injury while lifting weights, she found the benefit of chiropractic care not only for recovery but also for overall wellness. Her chiropractor and mentor utilized ART (Active Release Techniques) to decrease the pain and return her to the court when medications offered little relief. This holistic approach to healing and wellness is what inspired her to become a chiropractor herself.
After experiencing pregnancy, natural childbirth (of 10 pound babies!), and now raising the little ones, Olivia developed a deep passion for pregnancy and postpartum care. She understands firsthand the challenges of limited options during pregnancy, when medications are often not safe, and has found great purpose in helping other moms discover natural, non-invasive solutions for pregnancy pain relief and postprtum healing. This includes pelvic floor therapies that helped her overcome incontinence, and continue to be a cornerstone of her care for women.
She first graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a degree in Human Performance/Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. During her time at ‘Bama, she worked as a member of the recruiting team for the Crimson Tide's prospective student-athletes and will always be an Alabama fan.
Olivia went on to earn her Doctorate at Logan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, where she founded an on-campus organization dedicated to studying ART. She spent her time in school attending many extra courses and seminars in order to have the tools necessary to treat patients with a wide array of problems. This included working towards her certification to practice acupuncture, something she enjoyed studying while on an educational exchange trip to China. Her final year of schooling was spent completing an externship at Scott Air Force Base, working with our military men and women.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys spending time with her daughter, Bella, and her son, Sebastian, finding new running trails, cooking new healthy recipes (sometimes a few not-so-healthy ones), volunteering with the Junior League, and reading. She continues studying and attending seminars so that she is always up-to-date on the most beneficial care for her patients.
