What to Expect

Ascend Chiropractic's Approach

As a patient at Ascend Chiropractic, your experience will be different than the traditional Chiropractic office.  Yes, you will still be provided with specific Chiropractic care, but it's incorporating our soft tissue and rehabilitation techniques that make your experience unique from other offices.  Ascend Chiropractic is patient-focused, which is why we schedule longer appointment visits with you and also ensure the bulk of that time is spent with your Doctor of Chiropractic.  You will be provided with reasonable timetables for your treatment plans and learn simple exercises that allow you to progress outside of our office.  Our goal is to not only see you pain-free but for you to ascend towards a level of optimal health.

Initial Appointment

At Ascend Chiropractic, your initial appointment visit will be scheduled for an hour to allow for proper consultation and treatment on the same day.  If you come into our office in pain, you can expect to receive treatment during your first visit, as long as further imaging, exams, testing, etc., do not need to be completed after the examination.

Treatment Plan

Due to Ascend Chiropractic's individualized and integrative health care, you will be provided with shorter care plans compared to traditional offices.  Each patient is different and the severity of complaints can change dramatically, but typically patient care plans will include 2-3 visits per week for 2-4 weeks.  ART treatments are rarely performed on consecutive days, therefore 3 visits a week is normally our maximum frequency throughout a week's time.

Optimal Health

At the end of your treatment plan, we will re-evaluate the initial complaint to see if the problem has been completely resolved, or if additional treatment may be needed.  At this point, if the problem has been resolved and you are no longer in pain, we can change our focus from pain management to improving your overall function and working towards optimal health.  This plan normally consists of 1-2 visits per month to keep on track with care and add additional exercises to continue your progress.

Insurance/Payment Options

Ascend Chiropractic believes in the value of wellness care for you and your family and has maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our office participates in most insurance programs. We also accept auto accidents and workers' compensation cases. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. To learn more about our payment options for chiropractic and wellness care, you can call our office directly.

Medicare

We are a participating provider with Medicare, meaning we will take care of billing Medicare for covered services, which is limited to chiropractic adjustments. For all other services, including exams, manual therapy, and exercises, the patient is responsible for the full charge, as Medicare does not cover these services.

These charges may be covered by secondary insurance or the patient may choose a self-pay option. We will only recommend those services that we feel are medically necessary. Please call for details.

Worker's Comp

Work-related injuries need to be reported to your employer. If your employer gives you the option to choose your own chiropractor we are happy to work with them for your worker's comp case.

Personal Injury

Our office staff has had experience with numerous Personal Injury cases.  They are well versed in the insurance and attorney process.   Please call our office for more information.

No Insurance

For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. If you have no insurance or do not have chiropractic benefits there is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.
